Most of the market still knows Merchize as a POD fulfillment partner — the place where online sellers order products one at a time, or in small to mid-size batches. Alongside orders for organizations and other teams, the corporate order that came in from Amazon in 2026 stands as the clearest proof yet of Merchize’s ability to meet the standards global corporations hold — including tight delivery windows and their own distinct product quality requirements.
When Speed Becomes the Reason You Get Chosen
In conversations with the team leading Amazon Accelerate 2026, Merchize understood Amazon’s concern: with a large production volume and a limited time window, could a supplier deliver in full—especially heading into the peak of the year’s biggest sales season? Amazon’s own team shared that their usual vendors need at least 30 days to complete a production run of this scale.
The order Merchize took on was a SWAG service producing custom tote bags, each designed to Amazon’s own distinct brand identity for Amazon Accelerate, an event aimed at the community of sellers and e-commerce brands on the Amazon platform. With the design finalized on July 31, Merchize completed production and had the entire shipment on its way within 20 days — arriving well ahead of schedule.

The shipment went out on August 20 (August 19 US working time) — more than a month before the event itself took place. There was no gap between when the products were ready and when the event needed them; if anything, there was a safety buffer that few manufacturers in the corporate gifting industry can create at a scale of thousands of units.
That number — 20 days, set against the market standard of 30 — is the strongest statement Merchize can make to every client it works with. Whether the client is Amazon or any other order where timing and consistency leave no room for schedule risk, it is more convincing than any pitch could ever be.
When a Sample Was Enough to Grow the Order
The Accelerate order didn’t start at its final size. Amazon initially planned for 2,000 tote bags — a number set before either side had seen the finished product in hand. Once the sample arrived, the response was immediate: the quality was enough to change the plan. Amazon increased the order to 2,500 units, choosing to commit further based on what the product actually looked and felt like, rather than staying with the original estimate.
That shift, small as it looks on paper, says something larger about how trust gets built in a production partnership. It’s one thing to promise a fast turnaround; it’s another for a client to look at a physical sample and decide the work is worth expanding — before a single unit has even shipped.

Repositioning Merchize: From POD Fulfillment to a Global Corporate SWAG Partner
The greatest value this order brought to Merchize isn’t revenue — it’s proof of a capability the market doesn’t yet automatically associate with the Merchize name. It’s an anchor point for repositioning: for a community of hundreds of thousands of Amazon sellers and e-commerce brands to look at Merchize as a partner capable and trusted enough to produce large-scale orders for similar events — with the same speed and quality that once served Amazon.
