To comply with updated European import regulations, Merchize applies import duties and related surcharges to eligible orders fulfilled at our US and Vietnam facilities and shipped to European destinations. Please review the updated rates and effective date below.

1. Import Tax Surcharges for Orders Shipped to the EU

Effective October 25, 2026, the following surcharges apply to eligible orders fulfilled at Merchize’s Vietnam and US facilities and shipped to the 27 EU member states listed below.

1.1. Orders Shipped from the Vietnam Facility to the EU

A. Import Duty

Eligible orders shipped from the Merchize Vietnam facility to the EU incur an import tax surcharge of USD 5.85 per product type.

Example: An order containing 2 product types (e.g., 3 × AOP Soccer Jerseys + 1 × House Flag) incurs a surcharge of:

2 product types × $5.85 = $11.70

B. Additional Logistics Surcharge for Romania (RO)

In addition to the EU import duty above, orders shipped from Vietnam to Romania incur an extra logistics fee of USD 5.75 per package (charged on top of the per-product-type import duty in section A)

1.2. Orders Shipped from the US Facility to the EU

Eligible orders shipped from the Merchize US facility to the EU incur the following surcharges:

• USD 3.50 per package
• USD 2.25 per item contained in each package

Example: An order containing 3 items in 1 package incurs a surcharge of:

$3.50 + (3 × $2.25) = $10.25

3. Important Notes

Import duties and related surcharges are paid during the customs clearance process. Once an order has been shipped and the applicable charges have been paid, these charges are non-refundable, including in the following cases:

• Delivery failure
• The recipient refuses to accept the package
• The shipment is returned to the warehouse

Please factor these charges into your product pricing, shipping costs, and fulfillment strategy to avoid unexpected expenses.
